  This has been my GP practice for over 30 years, I miss the days where you could call and get an appointment same day/next day but there are so many more people per surgery now so it is what it is. When I do need them, I can eventually get in, they also offer evening and weekend appointments outside of the surgery which suits my work situation very well. My parents were always given the best of care. They were unable to visit the surgery themselves through mobility and illness issues but a doctor (usually Dr Sidery but I think he has now retired) would visit them when necessary and the care and compassion shown made all the difference. My father sadly died from cancer last year but their care through that difficult time was very much appreciated by the rest of my family. The practice even sent a very thoughtful condolences card. They still visit my mother when the need arises and she wouldn't be able to live independently as she does now without their support (along with others such as Optima (carers) and family). None of the doctors are the same as when we started after 30 years but the recent appointments I have had personally with Dr Ahmed and some of the practice nurses have been very pleasant and reassuring.
